Ana Escobar is working with other Guatemalan women who believe they have identified their kidnapped babies in Guatemalan immigration records as having been adopted in the United States. Anonymous volunteers have posted those children's pictures online. Their search suggests a coming tragedy for almost everyone involved—children, birth families, adoptive families.
The exception: the people who arranged these adoptions. They have already been paid.

There are definitely a lot of issues with corrupt international adoption, but there are also some aspects of this article that are factually questionable...or logical leaps. I think it is really important to address the issues regarding corruption in adoption. To do this, I think we need accurate information. That said, right at the moment, I am experiencing a hugely busy time, so I am sorry to say I don't have a better article to post.
